- Clear the list and start fresh for a new set of options each time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the selection truly random and fair?
Yes. Every item in your list has an equal probability of being chosen, using your browser's random number generator — there's no bias toward items listed first or last.
How can I give one option a better chance of being picked?
Add that option multiple times as separate lines. Since each line has an equal chance, duplicating an entry increases its overall probability relative to the others.
Is there a limit to how many options I can add?
There's no fixed limit — add as many lines as you need, though very long lists (hundreds of items) may be harder to read on screen.
Can I remove the picked item automatically so it isn't chosen again?
Manually delete the winning line from the list if you want each pick to be from a shrinking pool — the tool itself doesn't remove picked items automatically by default.
Are my list items sent anywhere?
No. The random selection happens entirely in your browser — your list of options is never transmitted or stored on a server.
Input multiple options, and our tool will randomly select one for you. Perfect for simple decisions or lottery scenarios. Supports weighted randomness.
